Public Hearing | Comprehensive Plan Amendments
A duly noticed public hearing was held on Monday, September 9, 2024, regarding proposed amendments to the Village of Yorkville comprehensive plan related to solar and wind energy systems. The purpose of the proposed amendments is to establish language in the comprehensive plan addressing these systems; currently, the comprehensive plan includes no language related to solar or wind energy systems. The Village Board and Plan Commission will consider action on the proposed amendments upon the conclusion of a public hearing to take place on these amendments at the Village Board meeting on October 14, 2024. This meeting begins at 6:00 p.m.
